The current members of the Augustinian Community residing in the Priory of St Kieran are:
Peter McHugh osa Fr Peter, a Queenslander, has served in several pastoral and educational ministries of the Australian Augustinians. Being the first Australian Augustinian to gain a Doctorate in Philosophy his skills have been put to use in retreat work; seminary education; prison chaplaincy and parish life. Fr Peter is now retired. He still takes responsibility for care of people in the Catholic Community of North Harbour.
Patrick Fahey osa Fr Pat is now retired. When in active ministry Fr Pat applied his many skills and knowledge of music and liturgy to the various ministries in which he worked. Having a Mus in Liturgical Music and a Doctorate in Liturgy he has contributed skilfully to many Augustinian ventures. Fr Pat is known locally for the many years he worked in Sydney at St Augustine’s College and at the Australian Catholic University. Queensland is Fr Pat’s place of birth.
Peter Wieneke osa Fr Peter is another community member born in Queensland. The majority of his time in ministry was been spent in the Augustinians schools of Villanova College and St Augustine’s College. When he completed his term as Rector of Villanova in 1995 he entered parish ministry at St Clair, Sydney. He followed Fr Tony Banks osa as the parish moderator for the twinned parishes (at that ) of St Kieran’s, Manly Vale and St Cecilia’s, Balgowlah.
Michael Belonio osa Fr Michael is a member of the Augustinian Province of Cebu, the Philippines. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Philosophy at the Sydney College of Divinity. On completion of this study Fr Michael will return to his native country with new accreditation. While pursuing his studies Fr Michael spends time in pastoral ministry to the Catholic Community of North Harbour.
