The Call To Service the Baptised and the World.

Each baptised person is called by God to participate in the mission of Jesus. The variety of calls is rich.

Most people are called to marriage, some people are called to be single, and others are called to be religious sisters, brothers, priests or deacons. All these vocations are equal and make up the Body of Christ.

Those who are called to priesthood are to be at the service of the other baptised in the Church.

In the Catholic Community of North Harbour, Bishop David has entrusted this service to ordained members of the Order of St Augustine, the Augustinians.

The latest member of the Order to be ordained priest is Minh-Tan Hoang osa, in June 2010. The ordaining bishop was the bishop of the Diocese of Broken Bay, Bishop David Walker.
