Celebrate Sunday is a weekly liturgy for young people and families creating opportunities to gather, proclaim, break and be sent forth in mission for the following week.

We encourage you to come and share your gifts and talents with us.

The pattern for each Sunday:

 4.00pm    Music Ministry (musicians and singers practise in St Kieran’s)

4.30pm    Readers, Drama Troupe, Multimedia Team etc gather

5.45pm    People involved in the liturgy gather for prayer

6.00pm    Celebrate Sunday Mass

7.00pm    Supper & hospitality (Focus on the Question of the Week and its possibilities for Gospel living)

8.00pm    Evening concludes.

We are still looking for more businesses or families who would like to become a Celebrate Sunday partner and provide financial support once a year (or more often if you wish) to our Sunday evening gathering. We need a few people to assist with time and talent in sharing their gifts …

As part of our continuing vision with Celebrate Sunday and our efforts to keep the World Youth Day dream alive and active we need to engage the support of some people in the area of hospitality.  Both vibrant liturgy and good hospitality are key to the continued development of Celebrate Sunday.  We are keen to get a group of people to assist with the hospitality component:

¨ A couple of people to coordinate the weekly suppers after Mass (planning of menu, food, stocktake, etc).  Not required to attend Sunday night, job can be done through the week. 

¨ Four people to assist one Sunday night a month with food preparation, meal serving and clean-up:  5.30 pm - 8.30 pm (we need three teams to cover the month — Spaghetti night is on the fourth Sunday).
